Stinson Mine

The Stinson mine sits nestled in a valley atop Jenny Jump mountain. It span of operation was 1879 to 1882. Due to its great distance from the railroad, it was never worked extensively. As seen today, the only remains are the filled in shaft and remains of the hoist cable.
